It was with great excitement that Ambrose Treacy College opened on 28 January 2015. The establishment of a Catholic College for boys in Years 4 to 12 has created a great deal of interest and demand for places in both the first year and future years has been very strong. Ambrose Treacy College is proudly a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice tradition. Combining the energy and excitement of a new school beginning and the rich tradition of 76 years providing quality boys’ education through Nudgee Junior College, Ambrose Treacy College will guide boys through their important formation years into manhood.
We focus entirely on the unique needs of boys and celebrate their strengths and abilities. With over 75 years of experience in teaching boys, we understand what makes them tick and knowing boys means we teach them the way boys learn best. In each of our stages of schooling we encourage the successful completion of the developmental tasks that boys must negotiate at each stage in their academic lives. In everything we do, we aim to inspire excellence; a personal excellence that sees all boys reach their potential.
Learning Today Leading Tomorrow
Ambrose Treacy College will be structured to three separate learning and pastoral environments within the overall College structure. This structure comprises three schools:
- Ambrose Treacy College Junior School for Years 4 to 6
- Ambrose Treacy College Middle School for Years 7 to 9
- Ambrose Treacy College Senior School for Years 10 to 12
Each school within the College has its own specialised approach to correspond with the developmental stage of the students’ learning journey. While each school has its own distinct character, it remains one College in the Edmund Rice tradition.
In everything we do, we aim to inspire excellence; a personal excellence that sees all boys reach their potential.
