E-Scooters

An increasing number of boys are riding to school on e-scooters. The college supports senior students who ride safely to and from school on e-scooters. I remind students and their families that e-scooters are not to be ridden on the school grounds, especially through the pick-up zones at the start and end of the day. Helmets are mandatory. Students between the ages of 12-15 must be supervised and cannot ride to and from school unaccompanied on an e-scooter. Please refer to this link for further guidance. Year 5 scientists were covered in rainbows and sunshine when they explored the properties of light and colour in a fascinating workshop facilitated by Big Bang Science. Their playful activities encouraged curiosity and learning through hands-on, collaborative experiments. Students considered how light can be absorbed, reflected, and refracted by various materials, including water, mirrors and coloured lights, and even discovered the science behind optical illusions. You really can see the ATC difference!
