Week One has started successfully with students and staff enthusiastic about the term ahead. It was wonderful to meet as a community to begin our term with a College Assembly. We celebrated the life and legacy of Pope Francis and reflected on the Easter story as we continue our journey as pilgrims of hope in this jubilee year of the Church. Ted Challinor (College Captain) and senior leaders reminded students that being respectful, accountable and upstanding would lead to ATC being ‘Stronger Together’.
Term 2 Sport
It was also exciting for our 1st Rugby and Football teams to be presented with their jerseys at assembly. Check out the app for a full run down of training time and fixtures. Trials will be played across various locations this weekend with fixtures proper commencing in the first weekend of May. I’m looking forward to watching the continued improvement of our rugby program and will also follow our Football teams closely after witnessing their strong showing at the recent EREA carnival.
Updating Medical Details
It is important the College has up to date medical details so we can care for your son. We understand these change from term to term. Next time you log into Parent Lounge you will see an item to action.

ANZAC Day
The college commemorated ANZAC Day with two liturgies on Thursday morning where we were able to reflect on the sacrifices made by those who have served in the armed forces in times of peace, as well as war. This time of remembrance was beautifully supported by our musicians and singers.
The college is closed on Friday 24 April. Students are invited to attend the Graceville ANZAC Service and march on behalf of the school. Students wishing to march are asked to wear formal uniform with blazer and tie. The meeting point will be at Graceville Train Station at 7.00am.
