This week we celebrated as a prayerful community during our Opening Masses. As a part of our Catholic tradition, this celebration is in the form of gathering as a faith community around the Eucharist. For a number of our students this may have been a new experience or an infrequent experience. I would like to congratulate all our students on their involvement in the Mass, their commitment added to the wonderful occasion.
The energy is still very evident at the College and the wonderful start we had has certainly continued. I have been delighted with the way most students, both continuing and new, have adjusted to our new routines.
One of the most pleasing aspects of our start has been how we have seen students support each other whether in the form of continuing students looking out for new students feeling a little lost or confident new students looking for ways to engage with others. Well done!
Junior School students enjoyed their swimming gala today and we congratulate Connacht House who came first with 738 points, followed by Leinster on 734, Munster on 723 and in Fourth Place, Ulster with 708 points.

We regularly share stories of students doing great things in Service to others on social media and the ATConnect Blog. Parents and students are encouraged to send their contributions to signumfidei@atc.qld.edu.au The sharing of these good news stories will promote the wonderful organisations that our students work with, as well as bring to the fore the many causes and issues that our students are advocates for. So please send us through your stories, photos, and comments about all the amazing Service that the ATC students perform in their communities.
