ATC vs Brigidine Maths Challenge
The ATC/Brigidine Junior School Maths Teams Challenge Day was a thrilling event that celebrated the joy of problem-solving and the strong partnership between the two schools. Students formed teams to tackle challenging mathematical problems, aiming not just to find the correct answers but to do so against the clock. The day fostered teamwork and collective problem-solving, with students collaborating to find solutions.
Heading into the final round, Brigidine Team 9 held a narrow one-point lead over ATC Team 1. The final round, a relay event, was the highlight of the day, testing not just mathematical skills but also speed, teamwork, and coordination. Congratulations to the eventual champions, ATC Team 1, comprised of Hamish, Oliver, Eddie, Jack, Thomas, and Ethan. The event was a resounding success, reminding everyone that mathematics is about problem-solving, teamwork, and fun. Both colleges look forward to the 2025 Maths Team Challenge Day.
