Getting Started at ATC - January Edition!

With only days left until the start of the 2024 school year, I am excited to share all the latest important and helpful information with families to assist in getting started at ATC. Please be aware there is a staggered start to the year, across Monday and Tuesday so please check the details below to be prepared.

Update to Bell Times

A new Enterprise Agreement being implemented in 2024 for all College staff has prompted a review of our timetable and some minor changes. As such, Home Room will now commence each day at 8.30am rather than 8.25am. Morning Tea and Lunch will now be 30 minutes rather than 35 minutes each. School will continue to conclude at 3pm each day. There will be no change in the length of Home Room or lessons. Please CLICK HERE a copy of the 2024 Bell Times.

The nature of our site requires a significant amount of staffing supervision and required rosters for operations within the parameters of the agreed Hours of Duty. The changes to the timetable enable teaching staff to meet more regularly to collaborate outside of the school day but within their Hours of Duty to plan and prepare for effective teaching and learning. The College will continue to consider and review the design of the timetable, supervision rosters and school day in the future to meet our student needs as Year 4 to 12 school.
