P&F Spring Lunch - Our Community Turns Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

It was a beautiful sunny day and Cloudland was immersed in a sea of pink as the ATC P&F hosted the 6th annual Ladies Spring Lunch on Friday 25 October.

A record attendance saw lots of ATC Mums, Carers and Grandmothers come together to celebrate as a community, whilst raising money for much needed funds for breast cancer research. Nearly $10,000 was raised with the majority of proceeds going toward National Breast Cancer Research and ‘Share the Dignity’ Foundations - the charity of Rochelle Courtenay, our special Guest Speaker for the day.

Special thanks go to ATC Mum, Kim Craig for hosting the panel discussion and organizing our guest speaker this year. It was such an inspiring session where we learned about how the ‘Share the Dignity’ charity first started and also more information about the ‘It’s in the Bag’ campaign which is all about providing essential sanitary and personal hygiene products in a bag - an initiative helping thousands of homeless woman with many in domestic violence refuge.
